Our Story
Erik and Emily originally met in Medford, Oregon in 2005; their families, at the time, attended the same church. They both left Medford in 2008 for very different reasons. Years later, after some major life changes, God brought them back together.
Erik was living in Texas, and Emily was living in North Carolina. Reconnecting was not something either of them ever expected would ever happen. To both of them, neither person was on their radar. God had a different plan.
One night, Erik decided out of the blue to send a message to Emily through social media to say hello. She responded right away and the rest, as they say, is history. It was obvious that their reconnecting was not by accident.
They reconnected over the phone, long distance, and talked for hours on end. It was just over a month before they saw each other in person for the first time since 2008.

The Day Of
The ceremony will be held at the Rose Arbor on the Carter Creek property. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception for all of those who RSVP’d. Food will be provided per the options selected in the RSVP.
